Lalaloopsy Dolly Fun with Sugar3

Sugar3 is having their All Dolled Up launch today. I made an adorable Mint E. Stripes Lalaloopsy purse to match a dress Karen of Layla*and*Stitch created, and there is a beautiful bow and necklace set made by Tutu Cute Boutique to match as well.

There is a lot of detail on this little purse. I added a lot of beads, sequins, Swarovski crystal beads, and buttons to the little Christmas tree on the front.

Little peppermint buttons line the pink ruffle scallop trimmed purse flap. The aqua purse strap is also trimmed in a pink ruffle stitch.

A lot of detail was put into sweet Mint E. Stripes' face. I used both 100% cotton yarn and thread to create her.

A Darling Dolly for a Customer Cutie

One of my dear friends Jamie, had asked me to make her darling daughter Peyton, a mini me doll that looks just like her. Peyton has long golden brown hair, brown eyes, and wears glasses just like my oldest daughter. Peyton and Xiera even share the same favorite color, pink.

I hope Peyton loves her new mini me dolly this Christmas. I think she turned out simply adorable.

Rushed Christmas Order and Holiday Hairstyles

I rushed delivered this little cutie and adorable pair of pink and white leg warmers today for a dear customer of mine to make it in time to be under the Christmas tree this week! Phew....now I can breathe!! ;)
This past weekend we had an early Christmas dinner at my grandparents in laws. They always have their Christmas get together a week early so all of the grand children and great grandchildren can get together. Xiera asked me earlier on that day to do something pretty to her hair so we visited one of my favorite hairstyle blogs; The Story of a Princess and Her Hair, and found the perfect Hairstyle.

Look at those curls! Can you believe they stayed in all evening? She took one look in the mirror at her hair and told me she felt like a Princess.

Dolly Dearest Set

I just finished a sweet custom mini me dress, hat, and doll set for a dear customer of mine! I just love pink and brown together. It reminds me of Neapolitan ice cream. Yummy!

Punk Rock Halloween Sneak Peak

I FINALLY finished a doll and two hats and mailed them out Express to be modeled with their matching sets. Xiera modeled one of the hats and doll for me really fast before I mailed it out. The Lil Peas Go Batty Halloween Guest Launch has been going on for a week now with only one more week to go! I feel like such a procrastinator! What should I name the little doll? I was thinking Patrice the Punk. Sick (the cool sick), or Lame?

A Birthday Just Around The Corner

Next month Zella will be turning 2 years old, (I know, crazy, right?) She is in LOVE with Sponge Bob right now so we have to have him as the theme. I have all kinds of cute ideas planned for the party. Sponge Bucket Toss, Pin the Pants on Sponge Bob, and if we have time, Fishing for Jelly Fish. For the cake I really wanted a cake that looked just like Sponge Bob. I called our local bakery who can make practically any themed cake you can think of. Well they told me they couldn't make the entire cake resemble Sponge Bob because he is a licensed character, but that they could put a Sponge Bob toy on it, and decorate the cake with the toy(s) on it. Well I decided this year, I would take matters into my own hands once again, and design Zella's birthday cake. Remember all of the cupcakes I baked last year for her first birthday party? I have done some research online and found this website quite helpful. I am going to try to bake a tester cake this week. So wish me luck and I will post pics. ;)
This past weekend,I decided I wanted to make Zella a little something special for her big day; her very own Little Miss Mini Me Doll! This little gal took a lot of time. The hardest part in creating her; Her hair. I think I spent 3 hours alone trying to get her hair just right. It brought back a lot of memories creating her since I used to restore rainbow brite dolls and create my own OOAK characters years ago. I really love her pink and blue striped tights and pink rosy cheeks.

Xiera of course wants me to make her one now too. I made a pinky swear promise that she will get one for her birthday too. ;)
