Furry Friends

It isn't everyday that we have these furry little friends come and visit us! I looked out the back door yesterday morning to find this little cutie looking right at me!!

And then later on the girls and I were playing in their sand box in the backyard when these two furry little bandits came walking along.


They are so cute, but mean! We didn't get too close and I think they may have a nest nearby because they are still lurking around this morning too!

Daddy and Expecting?

Well it is official!! We are expecting........kittens that is! Our spoiled country kitty Charley is pregnant!

We took her in last fall and we have grown to love her so much. She was supposed to be our indoor kitty but occasionally she would dart out the door as we would enter or leave our home. When she would come back she was always accompanied by our neighbor's cat, so I am pretty sure he is her kitty companion.
Speaking of daddys, Zella has been quite attached to this Ken doll. She calls him daddy and takes him everywhere we go. It is sooooo hilarious! Funny Story; Last week we were in a hurry to go to the store and "Daddy" was missing his clothes. Well Zella would not part from him for a second. So yes, Zella and naked "Daddy" sat in the cart together while I got some really strange looks from many customers and the cashier. "Daddy" now has his own extra change of clothes in the diaper bag!

Japan Inspired Halter and Model Sharing

TheChicks are having a Japan inspired launch on ebay that starts on May 27th. I am pairing up with Katie of My*Toot*Toot and Tab of Kaydensgracedesigns. Katie is making an adorable skirt using this yummy Japan imported fabric from Kokka's Original Collection. Tab is making bows to match!

I finally finished the halter top to match! I am planning on making flip flops to match too! I think it turned out really cute and can't wait to have Xiera model the whole set together!

Xiera and I have had such a busy and fun week of modeling. She modeled 2 adorable dresses for Sarah of *BBCB*(Blue Birds Childrens Boutique)


Yesterday we went to the park and modeled a really fun and funky Mermaid set for Kristi of Boys Will Be Boys Boutique. Kristi also made the Mermaid necklace and bracelet set to match. Daisy of Pigtailsandpaws made the super cute bows and headband to match.

Modeling and Bloopers

Today Xiera modeled another BEAUTIFUL set made by Cherise of Pick-A-Lily's Custom Designs Studios. Xiera really LOVED this set!! She kept saying, "Mommy look at all the pretty flowers on me!" LOL!! I LOVE the twirl skirt and the adorable bolero gives the set a very unique look!


Xiera also modeled a beautiful white dress made by Sarah of*BBCB*(Blue Birds Children's Boutique) This dress would make the perfect flower girl dress! I love the pink flowers along the bottom of the dress.

All The Pretty Little Horses

The girls and I were feeding our neighbor's horses today. They are so sweet and pretty! The little one is only 3 weeks old. She is so cute!! Her name is Luna because of the crescent moon shape on her forehead. Xiera kept asking me if we could bring her home. I told her that we had no room for Luna. But she insisted that she could stay in her bedroom! LOL!


Ivory could of passed as a pig because of his huge appetite today! ;)

Helicopters and a Kitty Friend

So who remembers throwing "Helicopter" tree seeds up into the air and watching them fly? Well that is what Xiera and I did all this evening. There was a great breeze and if you threw them up in the air just right, they would fly really really far!! Xiera started collecting handfuls of them and throwing them all into the air at once! It was so much fun to watch!!

Zella had a blast giving her best friend Custard the Kitty a push on her swing. She is such a cutie pie!!

Ladybugs, Caterpillars, and Flowers

The girls had another fun modeling expedition today! Xiera modeled a ladybug collaboration set made by me and Tammy of Painted*Patooties. I just LOVE how this set turned out! Tammy never ceases to amaze me with her adorable designs she paints!! Tammy painted the shorts and tank and I of course made the Ladybug top with matching hair clips.




Zella modeled my new Hungry Caterpillar halter top design. I also collaborated with the very talented Tawnya of Bada*Blingg. She made a Hungry Caterpillar necklace and bracelet set to match!! Zella wasn't into the modeling mood like Xiera was but as long as I made silly faces and sang the ABC song she gave me a few giggles and smiles! ;)



Xiera also modeled this BEAUTIFUL Pink floral set made by Chelsea of Sweetbettyco! This set is just so ruffly and girlie!! Xiera didn't want to take it off! I can't say I blame her! I want one in my size!
