The Return of Spring Chick and Blue Bunny

I got my pics back of the blue bunny hat and spring chick hat that I recently blogged about HERE and HERE, and they are just so adorable! I made them both to match these adorable outfits made by Rachael and Lisa of Princess Pickle Boutique. Kenzie modeled the sets! Isn't she such a cutie?

Ahem...is this thing on?

I have an announcement to make! I have decided to start selling once again on Ebay and teamed up with the AMAZING designers of the Lil Peas Boutique!

I am so excited to be apart of this talented group of ladies and look forward to working with them on our upcoming launches!!

Yesterday was the warmest day of the week, and the girls' were starting to feel a lot better, so the girls and I had a lot of fun outdoors modeling for Jayne of Baby Grace Designs. The girls turned the shoot into an Easter Egg hunt which made these beautiful Easter Dress Sets come to life!!

Thinking About Taking Up New Residence..

at the doctor's office. Yes that is where I have been with my 2 girls and hubby for the past 2 weeks. Hubby started with a nasty cold and sore throat, then Xiera had a sinus infection that turned to Croup. Both Xiera, Zella and I still have nasty sinus infections. Hopefully our antibiotics start kicking in soon so we can get past this. We even had to postpone Zella's birthday party last Saturday to this Sunday because of all the terrible illnesses going around in our home.
In between playing nurse I have been able to catch up on a few orders but my crochet time has been very limited these past weeks. Here are a few orders I mailed out this week.

I made a Brobee hat with removeable arms for another customer of mine.

We had a very small birthday celebration for Zella since we were all sick. Xiera and I made cupcakes for her. Happy Birthday Zelly Belly!! I can't believe my baby is already 2 years old!!

It just seems like yesterday when she looked like this.

Happy Heart Day!!

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone! --> You know I couldn't resist my girl Hello Kitty showing some love on this post! ;)
I have had such a busy week. As you already know, Zella's big birthday party is next weekend and I have been planning and gathering goodies for her special day. I am still planning on making her Sponge Bob birthday cake. I am just a little nervous how I am going to go about it, but I am sure once I get started on it, everything will fall into place...hopefully. ;)
I have been keeping my promise to Xiera about fixing her hair up everyday! Phew...these hair styles she picks out really are time consuming, but I love the one on one time we have in the mornings while I make her hair pretty. Here is a picture of one of my favorites!

I found the original hairstyle HERE I just tweaked it a bit because Xiera's hair is a lot longer. I thought the little Scary Spice twisty buns looked cute with it. I have also not mastered the reverse french braid technique, hence the regular french braids. ;) O and yes that top she is wearing is about 3 sizes too small for her. She has been playing "dress up" with Zella's outgrown clothes. She insists that they fit her. I disagree.
In between party shopping for Zella, new hairstyles, and helping Xiera out of her outgrown dress up clothes, I have found some time to work on custom orders and a few more hats to collaborate with my dear friend Janissa of JM Baby Boutique.
First is this adorable little boy bunny hat I made for a dear customer of mine.

And here are some more hats to match JM Baby Boutique's Sets.

And how cute are these little hair clips?

I can't wait to see what Janissa makes to match them!

Creative Hairstyles

Just recently Xiera has been insisting on me trying to put her hair up in different ways. She told me she was tired of her hair being down and wanted me to do something pretty to it. So everyday this week she has had a different hairstyle! I have found some really neat hairstyle ideas from Bowsnstuff and Hairstyles For Girls. We tried the double hearts hairstyle from Hairstyles For Girls blog today, and well, ours didn't quite turn out like hearts, but it still looked really pretty and she got lots of compliments when we were out and about shopping today. ;) She told me she felt like a princess. ;) Now if only Zella would let me do something to that crazy hair of hers.....

Yo Gabba Gabba Part 1

The girls are really into the tv show Yo Gabba Gabba that plays on Nick Jr. If you haven't seen the show than I suggest you do so because it is the funniest and cutest show EVER!! One of the girls' favorite characters from the show is the green long armed one named Brobee. I thought it would be so cool to make a hat that resembled him. I think he turned out adorable and I am now inspired to make a hat for every character. Is it not the cutest hat you have ever seen? It just makes me giggle every time I look at it! I am not sure what makes me laugh harder; those long dangling arms or that goofy smile! ;)

Sweet Treats

I have had a lot of requests for cupcake hats that resemble real cupcakes like my cupcake purse!

So I would like to introduce a few Cupcake Hats that will surely satisfy that sweet tooth of yours!

First is the Cupcake Party hat that matches the Cupcake Party top and purse I made last year. You can see them both Here.

Next I have my favorite kind of cupcake, Strawberry Chocolate Chip!!

And last but certainly not least is the Rainbow Sprinkles Cupcake modeled by the adorable Elle!

Aren't those jeans the cutest jeans you have ever seen?? And they match so perfectly with my hat!! They were made by the talented Kirsten of Oli*Beli. You can see more of her designs Here.

Lindsay
