The Minions Have Arrived!

Sugar3 Boutique on Facebook is having their Villainous Launch going on right now. Karen of Layla*and*Stitch and I collaborated for this fun launch. Karen made the shirts and I made the hats to match.

I believe the shirts are already sold but if you are interested in them, you can contact Karen on her business page on Facebook, Layla and Stitch Children's Boutique and ask her if she will be making anymore. Two of the Evil Purple Minion hats have already been purchased with Buy It Now, but once I am caught up with orders, I plan to list these fun hats in my Etsy store.

This collaboration was so much fun! I always enjoy working with Karen. She has been making beautiful boutique clothing for my girls for seven years now. She is very talented and her designs are absolutely amazing. The Sugar3 Villainous launch ends tomorrow at 8:00 p.m. CST so if you get a chance, please stop on by. There are a lot of wonderful designs available for this fun launch!

My Very Own Snow White

A few weeks ago Zella had the opportunity to model a beautiful Snow White set made by the very talented Jayne of Baby*Grace*Designs. The girls always love it when they get the chance to model for Jayne. She creates the most whimsical and fun sets that any little princess would adore. Her work is both impeccable and gorgeous!
I crocheted the red bow to match. What I love the most about this set are the 7 dwarf appliques around the skirt. So cute!
Zella has always been our little Snow White here at home ever since she was a baby. She has the fairest skin, the brightest blue eyes, and her lips have a tint of red to them which sometimes looks as though she is wearing a bit of rouge.

It's A Holly Jolly Christmas Launch

The Who's Who Holly Jolly Christmas Launch is going on right now on facebook. You can find it HERE. Many talented and amazing designers are listing their best of the best designs for the launch. Here are my contributions for the launch. The first is The Most Famous Reindeer Of All Hat.

I just LOVE this hat and all of it's fun texture with the soft furry beige yarn and those silly antlers. I have already sold two of these hats with Buy It Now but am hoping I can get my hands on some more of that furry beige yarn so that I can list it in my Etsy store. The next is Candy The Snowgirl Hat.
Like the reindeer hat, it has a ton of texture to offer and the bright fun colors really make this hat an eye catcher. I have also already sold two of these since the launch started last night. I am hoping to find more white fluffy yarn and textured yarn for the tassels tomorrow while yarn shopping, so that I can list this one in my store as well.

My Brave Loving Little Girl

If you haven't figured it out yet, Zella is in love with the new Disney Princess Merida from the movie Brave. She is my little brute so that tough girl image that Merida portrays must appeal to her. I paired up with the talented Karen of Layla and Stitch Boutique and made 2 adorable hats to match her sweet dress design. The first hat I made looks a lot like the Brave purse I recently created. I loved the Merida face I did on the purse so I decided to put it on a hat and it worked.

The hat is so cute and whimsical with all of that crazy red hair.
The next hat was inspired by those adorable 3 little bear brothers from the movie. Those bears were Zella's favorite with their bright blue eyes and sweet little innocent faces that we all know disguised how onry they truly were.
Zella is in LOVE with the Brave dress Karen made. She wants to wear it all of the time.
She actually wore it today to school. She got on the bus this morning with her sister for the first time.
She is such a big/little girl now. She was all smiles while she waved to hubby and I out that bus window.

Fairy in the Garden

The talented Karen of Layla and Stitch Children's Boutique created this beautiful fairy dress for Xiera to wear at her recent fairy birthday party. Xiera adores the Michael Miller Petal Fairies Border Fabric used to create it because of the Cecily Mary Barker fairy images it has.
We had a lot of fun modeling and photographing the dress at the beautiful Wegerzyn Gardens Metropark. She looked like a real flower fairy frolicking in the gardens. It really is a wonderful dress to twirl and spin in and Xiera loves how comfortable it is too. Comfort is a BIG DEAL for this little girl these days. ;)

A listing for the same dress in a custom 2-8 size is available in her Etsy store. You can find it HERE.

A Little Lalaloopsy Fun

Xiera and I had a bit of fun modeling and photographing this precious Peanut Big Top Lalaloopsy Dress created by Jayne of Baby*Grace*Designs. We decided to do the photo shoot on an old railroad track that is no longer in use. I think that the simple background made this whimsical dress with it's vibrant colors "Pop!"

Xiera said "Mom, it's like Peanut Big Top is hitching a ride on a train to go to the circus!" I just love the way she thinks!

Xiera hasn't been much into modeling anything lately since she is now 7 going on 8. She feels that modeling boutique is for babies and little girls. But when I told her it was a lalaloopsy dress, she was all smiles and was so excited to do this for Jayne. She hasn't worn pigtails in so long either but she told me that since Peanut Big Top had pigtails that she had to have her hair in pigtails too. Sew sweet!!
And let me just tell you what a perfect dress this is to twirl in!!

On our trip back home after this photo shoot, we drove past a piece of artwork in town that resembled a circus tent. Needless to say, we HAD to get some more pictures with the "tent".

M-O-N-S-T-E-R, Monster, Monster, so Bizarre!

Yes my girls are true Monster High fans and of course when asked what kind of birthday party theme Zella wanted this year she screamed, "Monster High!" Abbey Abominable and Nefera De Nile are her two current favorites.
Heidi of The Closet of Eden made her fun and funky Monster High birthday set. It has Abbey Abominable appliqued on the front of the top and that famous Monster High skull with pink bow is featured on the front of the skirt. Those whimsical ruffles on the skirt and shirt sleeves are my favorite!

I made the leg warmers to match the stripe fabric used on the skirt.

Her adorable top hat was created by Marie-leigh'chelle Boutique. I adore that sparkly heart. Zella calls it her Mad Hatter hat.

Zella absolutely LOVES her new birthday outfit and can't wait to show it off at her birthday party this weekend!

Happily Ever After

Last week Zella modeled the prettiest Princess set made by Jayne of Baby*Grace*Design. I believe it was for DillyDally's Famous Couple's launch. Zella loved this outfit and told me she felt like a princess while wearing it. Last Friday was a cold day here in Ohio with the highs only reaching 25-30 degrees so we modeled the set indoors at the Hayner Cutural Center where the girls have their art classes. It is such a beautiful building with lots of windows to give off wonderful natural lighting so I was pleased with my very first indoor modeling shoot. I just love the hood on the back of the top. So fun and whimsical!

And the detail of the applique of Cinderella and her Prince Charming is incredible!

We had so much fun modeling this set for Jayne!

Modeling for PBJ*Boutique

Brittni of PBJ*Boutique sent Zella this BEAUTIFUL set to model. I just love how comfy and practical this set is. I also LOVE how it can be worn casual or dressy.

I made a sweet Bow Tie Cloche to match. I found the pattern for the cloche HERE. I am going to have to make a lot of these to match my girls' fall wardrobe this year, and maybe a few for myself too. They really are adorable!
