A Modeling Expedition

Today Xiera and I set out on a fun modeling expedition. Xiera likes calling it that because that is what Roo and Winnie The Pooh would call it! ;) She was so excited and totally in the "modeling mood" which was just wonderful!! We had fun modeling 2 more dresses for Sarah of *BBCB*(Blue Birds Childrens Boutique) and an ADORABLE Tinkerbell set for Cherise of Pick-A-Lily's Custom Design Studios. Here are a few of my favorites!

Sock Monkey Listing and Modeling Fun

Today Xiera had a lot of fun modeling another ADORABLE Little Mermaid set for Sarah of *BBCB*(Blue Birds Childrens Boutique). Here are a few of my favorites from today's shoot!




I also listed on ebay a Custom Sock Monkey Hat starting at only $.99 with no reserve. The first one I listed ended in a blink of an eye with Buy it Now so I decided to list another for fun! It can be made in pink or red and can be custom made to fit an infant size up to an adult size.

Early Birthday Gift

So Xiera's birthday is just around the corner. I can't believe my baby will be turning 4 years old on June 3rd! Well daddy went out and got her an early birthday present today....and Xiera is just ecstatic about it, while I am just a nervous wreck!

Yes Xiera now has her very own pink 4 wheeler and drives it all over our 3 acres and our neighbors' 6 acres rather well!! The only thing I like about it is the remote engine stop switch that either daddy or I can use to stop the engine automatically if needed.


This next picture looks like daddy is giving her some driving tips. "It looks like you are catching on well, young grasshopper!"

Pink Sock Monkey

Xiera and I had so much fun modeling this Sock Monkey set for Kristi of Boys Will Be Boys Boutique. The matching jewelry was made by Cathy of All*Gods*Children. I of course HAD to make a Pink Sock Monkey Hat to match. And yes it was a super windy day today, as you can tell by Xiera's crazy hair! ;) Xiera kept pretending she was blowing away in the wind and I had to "pretend" I was catching her from flying away! LOL!!

Climbing Mischief

This evening after I got the girls a bath, dressed in their pajamas, and combed their hair; I went ahead and left them playing with some toys on Xiera's bedroom floor while I went to get into my comfy pajamas. Xiera came into my room shortly after to hang out with me for a minute. After I was dressed, Xiera and I went back into her bedroom and saw this!

Well I was completely shocked and baffled!!! Not to mention I about had a major heart attack!! I just couldn't believe that my little Zelly Belly had climbed up onto the top of this stool and was leaning against Xiera's dresser wiping lip gloss all over her face!! Even Xiera's little mouth dropped open in shock!! Well from now on I won't underestimate Zella's climbing abilities! The old large wooden stool won't be gracing it's presence in Xiera's room anymore. Xiera liked using it to feed her fish. I guess I better get her a much smaller stool to use!

Caterpillar Peek and Outdoor Randomness

Can you believe April is gone? And May is already here? I have been working every given moment on my new Hungry Caterpillar design. I have taken this halter top apart about 3 times. I was envisioning a completely different design when I first started, but about half way, I just wasn't happy with the design at all, so I pulled it completely apart and ran to the store to buy all new yarn. I wanted to try a little something different and fun! I wanted ruffles and lots of them!! So here is a little sneek peek! I really like how it looks so far!

And here are a few random pics of the family having fun at the park. The weather turned a bit chilly this week but it has been very sunny and beautiful every single day! Zella LOVES collecting sticks and rocks at the park. It is her favorite thing to do and one of our favorite things to watch!! ;)

Newest Ladybug Design and Kite Flying

The weather has been just BEAUTIFUL all week long and we have been enjoying it by going on walks at the park, bike riding, and pretty much spending every given moment outdoors! Xiera had lots of fun flying her Dalmation kite yesterday!! This is the first time she has ever flown a kite and she did rather well. She was so proud of herself and we were too.



I was invited by my friend Tammy of Painted*Patooties to the Lil'Peas Going On a Picnic Guest Launch that starts May 13th so I decided to bring the ladybugs to the picnic!! Here is a sneak peek!!

I am planning on making some cute hair clippies to match too!!

New Pattern Find

I never usually crochet clothing for myself to wear, but I ran across this pattern and have made a promise to myself that I will make this one to wear very soon!!! I just LOVE the ruffle lace stitch on this cami top and the ribbon lacing on the side. So cute and very springy! You can find the FREE pattern Here.

A Pretty Princess

Xiera just recently modeled 2 more adorable Princess dresses for Sarah of *BBCB*(Blue Birds Childrens Boutique). She just LOVES modeling these dresses for Sarah and you can see why! They are just so pretty and perfect for twirling!

Poison Ivy Woes

A few days ago, hubby cut the grass and I went outside to play with the girls shortly after. Zella loves just sitting in the grass and sticking her fingers in the dirt and pulling the grass with her hands. Well I am guessing hubby must of mowed over a Poison Ivy vine causing it to spread all over an area in the yard that Zella was playing in because now her little hand has a nasty Poison Ivy rash on it. Hubby gets Poison Ivy quite frequently and said we should go and get some Zanfel. I didn't know if we could use it on Zella since she is so young so I called the Pediatrician to make sure and she said it would be okay to use. So we went and picked it up and treated her rash with it. It already looks so much better.

Messy Rooms, Modeling, and Puppet Fun

I finally have a moment to breathe, drink a cappuccino and blog!! So let's first talk about kids' bedrooms! My only question is how does this happen within 15 minutes?

I mean COME ON!!! It takes Xiera and I over a half an hour every evening to clean up her room and then the very next morning it looks like a tornado just ripped through her room again, which leaves me to wonder why do I even bother cleaning?
A few days ago Xiera got a little present in the mail. Inside was this adorable Crochet Parrot Puppet made by my talented crocheting friend Sarah of Bearly Around Bears And Friends. Xiera named him Norm. Isn't he just the prettiest Scarlet Macaw? Thank you so much Sarah!! He is Adorable and very well made!!

Xiera and I went to the park to have a little modeling fun early this afternoon while Zella stayed home with daddy and took a little nap. Xiera modeled two Nemo sets from 2 different designers. The first shortall set was made by Lisa of Artgirlblue! Xiera loves that it has all of the characters from the movie on it; front and back! O and did I mention the removable dangling fish that hangs from the pocket? How cool is that?

And the next ADORABLE 2-piece set was made by Sarah of *BBCB*.

Both of these sets inspired Xiera and I to watch Finding Nemo this evening. One of her absolute favorite movies! ;)
