All last week Zella had the nastiest viral infection. In fact she still has it and if it continues by Wednesday (because the doctor told me it could last up to 12 days) I will be calling the doctor again for sure!) This past weekend I came down with some nasty bug. Probably a combination of the viral infection Zella has and a terrible cold. My throat started getting really sore on Friday and now it is all in my chest! YUCK!
On a good note, I finished my set for The Chicks' See Ya At The Beach Launch!! Introducing The Octo-Buddy Halter and Octo-Purse!
The Octo-Purse took me forever to make!! I thought I would never get finished with those legs, Crochet...Stuff...Crochet...Stuff, Sheesh 6 more to go! LOL!! And then I had to sew each one on after that!! The Octo-Purse pattern itself is really easy so for all my crocheting readers, I am actually in the process of writing out the pattern for this one and once it is copyrighted, I plan on having the pattern available on my website, and etsy store! I will be needing some testers so if you are interested just let me know and you will get the pattern for free, and I will also mention your name on the copyrighted pattern!! ;)
Now let's talk about Ohio weather!! Where are the signs of Spring? 2 weeks ago it rained practically all week and then early last week we had a sleet storm that caused a lot of tree branches to break and a few friends and neighbors of ours had their siding fall off of their houses. The trees did look quite beautiful, like they were adorned in dangling shiny crystals!!
Xiera had fun pretending to ice skate on our icy yard, while I kept trying to spot her from falling. She obviously has no fear...like her father. ;)
This past weekend we had 16 inches of snow with snow drifts as high as 3 feet. Hubby tried backing the car out on Saturday and got the car completely stuck in the driveway. At least today it got up to 46 degrees and the snow is finally starting to melt. I am soooooo ready for spring!

Have I told you today how much I absolutely LOVE this set! LOL! If the pattern for the purse is easy I would love to get it for my aunt (she loves doing stuff like this in her spare time). So, if you want someone else to test it out just email it to me!
XOXO
