Pampered Chef Fun!

My SIL invited me to her Pampered Chef party this evening. This was the first Pampered Chef party I had ever attended! I have to say I was impressed! They have so many handy kitchen utensils and cookware/bakeware to choose from. We made a delicious deep dish pizza topped with red and green peppers, garlic, chicken, and mozzarella cheese in one of their Stoneware pans!

For dessert, we made a yummy Chocolate, Cranberry Funnel Cake topped with melted chocolate chips.



Everything was just delicious!! I ended up purchasing this handy Food Chopper!! It chops up veggies in a flash and my favorite part....no more chopping onions with tears!! Yipppeee!!

I am planning on hosting my own Pampered Chef Party this May!!

B-Day Blast!

Zella's first birthday party turned out wonderful! I slaved baking cupcakes for the party until 4 in the morning the night before or rather the morning of, but I have to say the table looked so picture perfect with all those pretty little cupcakes! (You can see the pin the sprinkles on the cupcake game that I made for the kids to play beyond the cupcakes on the wall.)

Xiera was in charge of the balloons. Well actually she just begged and begged for a pretty purple one until I finally caved in after singing Happy Birthday! ;)

Zella ended up sleeping for half of her party. She slept through the opening of her presents. LOL!

But she finally woke up just in time for us to sing Happy Birthday to her..flashing us dirty looks the whole time. ;)

Today I had Zella model my Cupcake Party Top for The Chicks' Cute As A Button Launch! I also made a Cupcake Purse to match. I really HATE taking pictures indoors but we really had no choice since it was only 25 degrees outside and we had 5 inches of snow. I think they turned out pretty good. Zella was so hard to photograph. I had forgotten how hard it was to take modeling pics of a little one under the age of 2! She was all over the place! LOL! Bribing her with animal cookies was my last resort. Thank goodness it worked! I can't believe how much older she looks in these pics! She will be turning 1 tomorrow! Happy Birthday my little Zelly Belly!

Early Spring Cleaning!

Zella's first birthday is coming up on the 21st and we are having a big birthday party for her this coming Sunday so I thought it was time to clean and organize her closet. YIKES!!! What a mess! We have very small closets in this house too. At least now I have a little bit of room for all new clothes.


Poor Zella looked so lost in the sea of clothes! I just noticed in this picture that I need to trim up her bangs again too.

Now I have this large plastic container of clothes to sell on ebay and a HUGE bag of clothes to drop off at the local consignment shop too. So don't forget to check out my ebay listings next week (after the strike) if you or someone you know need size 0-3 months up to 6-9 months in baby girl clothing. All are mostly designer brands too! ;)

Rainbow and Shadows

It was rainy and dreary for most of the day today but it stopped raining this evening so we went outside to play for a bit. We jumped in puddles and danced with our umbrellas! Xiera looked down and saw her shadow and giggled. She said, "Mommy look! My legs are so long!!"

We then looked up in the sky and saw the most beautiful rainbow! I haven't seen a rainbow that bright in a long time!

Amazing Music Video

I just ran across this remake music video to the song Apologize by Timbaland and One Republic. (One of my favorite songs) The video was made by Aaron Platt. It has to be one of the most beautiful music videos I have ever seen! The effects are simply AMAZING!! It is so much better than the original! Kudos to Aaron Platt!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Valentine's Day is pretty much another day over here! Hubby and I did say Happy Valentine's Day to each other this morning! I stopped at the store to pick up some groceries and dropped off two packages at the post office. Xiera and I had a bit of fun with buttons and yarn today!! ;)

New Race Car Hat!

I had just recently made a new Race Car hat design and had the honor of working with Christy of Freelance4Hire Photography. Her pictures are outstanding! A Beautiful Collaboration

I finally finished the Tulip Top and I must say it turned out better than I could have imagined! Yes I did change the design of the sleeves once again. LOL! I even went ahead and made a purse to match. I collaborated with Tammy of Painted*Patooties and Jeanine of Monkey Cheek Boutique on this BEAUTIFUL Spring Tulip Garden Set. Tammy painted the Super Cute cropped jeans and shirt, and Jeanine made the ADORABLE polka dotted bows and Tulip Clip! Keep checking back because we will be listing this on ebay sometime next week!!

Creative Determination

Well I have been working on a new Tulip shirt design to match Gymbo's Holland Days Line and I must say I am really excited, and stressed about it all at the same time. I have completely taken this thing apart probably 8-9 times. Yesterday I worked on one sleeve for practically the whole day and then decided that I hated the way it looked and took it all apart and redid it in a completely different design than I had originally planned. Uggggggg....I know, but now I am really happy with the way the sleeves turned out.



Now I am working on the chest and waist of the top and I already took it apart and redid it 3 times today.

I will be working on this all night long, but I know it will be just ADORABLE once it is all finished.

While I was a bit frazzled with my new Tulip design, Xiera was having a wonderful time painting with her brand new watercolors. She has her mommy's artistic traits. ;)
