Hi, new to your blog, not read it all but have to say WOW! your crochet is amazing! I LOVE the crochet dress your daughters in! beautiful! I've never really tried crochet before but I'm inspired, how did you learn?

Hi April and thanks so much for your sweet comments about my crochet designs. I first learned how to crochet from my step mother in law. It was hard to catch on at first. She is right handed and I am left but I found it easier to look by sitting across from her and "mirroring" every stitch. I finally caught on after a week of determination and my first finished product was a large granny square blanket. I then purchased a few crochet pattern books and taught myself how to read patterns by memorizing all of the crochet stitch abbreviations.
We are all HUGE Lalaloopsy fans over here too!!
