A Fairytale and a Bakery

Yesterday Xiera modeled 2 adorable sets! The first adorable Fairytale set was made by Jayne of Baby*Grace*Designs. I like that it can be worn with the pants or alone as a dress!


The next Super Cute Bake Set was made by Carolyn of Elephants*N*Butterflys. Xiera couldn't wait to eat a yummy cupcake. She kept sticking her little finger into a cupcake and having an occasional taste throughout the whole modeling shoot! LOL!!

Wet Summer Fun!

The girls had a fun filled day at the water park this afternoon.


Then we went and had some yummy ice cream, followed by a pleasant nap! O how I love summer!!

Catching Butterflies, and a Strawberry Bag

All yesterday afternoon Xiera caught butterflies and let them go. They were the little white ones that you see. She tried to catch a monarch, but he was, "Too fast!" Xiera said. :)


I also decided to take a picture this morning of a Strawberry purse/bag that I made weeks ago. I just realized, I never took a picture of it! ;) The Daisy clips are removeable and can be worn as hair clips.

Pixie Pampering and Strawberry Modeling

This past weekend I got my yummy pampering bath and lotion goodies in the mail!!! (After a crazy week of being sick and caring for 2 sick princesses, pampering myself is an absolute MUST!) I just LOVE these yummy scented lotions and bath soaps from Amber of Pixie Potions. I purchased the Black Raspberry Vanilla, and Mermaid's Sparkle Cucumber Melon Lotions. They both smell soooo heavenly!! I can't wait for the fall lotion scents to come out. I just love their Caramel Apple lotion and can't wait to try the Candy Corn lotion!! (I am such a sucker for Candy Corn) Some other goodies I got were the Yuzu Soap, Cotton Candy Lip Balm, and the Fairy Candy and Cotton Candy Perfume Wands! Did I mention Pixie Potions is also on Etsy? I got a few extra goodies too for being so patient with my order, since they just recently got a new look for their lotion bottles, (Which I love so much better than the pump style!) and labels. Who doesn't LOVE extra goodies, right? The Cupcake Bath Bomb is my fave! I am going to have to get a couple of them for my next order! I am smelling so sweet and yummy now!!!


Xiera also modeled this past weekend an adorable Strawberry Set for Lisa of Artgirlblue. I love this next picture. So Xiera, how big was that Strawberry you ate?

"It was this big MOMMY!" LOL!

Just when I thought everyone was starting to feel better....Zella wakes up this morning weazing and coughing an absolute horrible cough. It seems Xiera is sharing her Croup with her baby sis. When will this sickness end?

It Has Been Awhile..

Wow I usually don't take this long of a break from blogging. It has been a long and yucky week!! The girls have been sick left and right. First Xiera was sick and then she got better and then Zella got sick and then she got better and then Xiera caught the croup. Then I started getting sick with a nasty sinus infection so now we are all one big unhappy sick family...the only happy one is hubby who must have an immune system made of steal!

Driveway Artists and a Polka Dotted Whale

I finished the Whale Halter today and I just think he is so super cute!! I am planning on having Zella model it this weekend. Here is a little peak of the whale!!

The girls broke out the chalk and drew some BEAUTIFUL artwork on our driveway yesterday afternoon. I really love Xiera's tulips she made. Enjoy the pictures!

Birthday Bash and Pool Side Fun

Yesterday was a fun filled day!! We attended 3 birthday parties including Xiera's! We first went to Xiera's cousin's party in the morning and then had to leave a bit early to head over to Chuck E. Cheeses for Xiera's big birthday party bash! Xiera had so much fun playing with her cousins and friends until Chuck E. came out.

Xiera wanted nothing to do with him. She said, "I just want to eat my pizza!" So we let the princess eat her pizza while all of her friends danced and partied with Chuck E. Then came time for the cake, and Xiera did something a bit out of character. She suddenly got very bashful and nervous and started to cry and buried her face into daddy's chest. She didn't like all of the attention she was getting all at once. I ended up blowing out her candles for her. I took her aside and she told me she just wanted to play and that she didn't want to eat cake or open her presents right now, so we let her do just that and she resumed back to her happy and playful self! We decided to take all her unopened gifts with us so she could open them once we got home. After Xiera's party was over; we were off to Xiera's friend's birthday party. I am officially partied out!!





It got up to 93 degrees outside today so we broke out the pool and cooled off!! Xiera loved dancing and splashing away while Zella stayed on the side and dipped her hands in occasionally to cool off. I guess it was a bit too cool for her! ;)

A Whale of a Design and Model Sharing

This Adorable Polka Dot Whale fabric has inspired me! I am working on a halter top to match. I really like the waves ripple pattern I came up with for the apron part of the halter.


Xiera also modeled this fun and whimsical 3-piece set that you can mix and match made by Carolyn of Elephants*N*Butterflys. Her favorite part of this modeling shoot was watering Grandma and Grandpa's flowers! ;)

They Have Arrived!

I woke up early this morning and headed downstairs to begin the laundry like every morning to find this pleasant surprise; Momma Charley nursing her 4 brand new kittens! Awwwwww they are all so sweet!! I am a little disappointed I missed the whole experience but am happy to see that Charley took care of everything! She is such a good first time mother! I am so proud of her! Xiera has been down there all morning Ohhhing and Awwwwing over them! She wants to keep them all but I explained to her that we just don't have enough room to care for all of her babies. Xiera then said, "Well maybe just one? That way Charley can have one of her babies to play with and then she won't be lonely!" :) I told her daddy and I will have to think about it! ...but perhaps we will keep just one! (Note; the blanket they are resting on is one of my first blankets I had made that has seen better days. At least I know it is going to good use!)

Happy Birthday Xiera!

Today is Xiera's official birthday!!! I can't believe my sweet baby is 4 years old today!! Sniff!! Sniff!! Where does the time go? Seriously? We had her open a few presents today but plan on having her BIG Birthday Bash on Saturday at Chuck E. Cheeses. Here is a video of her opening her gifts!! Enjoy!

Patriotic Sister Sets

What a challenge it was photographing both Xiera and Zella modeling these adorable Patriotic Sister Sets made by Jayne of Baby Grace Designs. Xiera LOVES the dangling bells on her shirt!

Xiera wanted to play on one side of the yard while Zella just wanted to run around and around in circles the other way! YIKES!! I love this next one! It looks like Xiera is trying to give Zella a hug while Zella is too busy to even notice!! Priceless!

We ended up doing 2 different modeling shoots so that is why Zella's hair is up in a headband in a few and pigtails in the others! ;)



I am so happy with how they turned out!! I think these pictures show their true candid selves!
