Dress Me Pretty Shrug

We are enjoying the BEAUTIFUL warm weather we are having this weekend! Highs in the mid 80's in April, in OHIO!! I had Xiera model the Pink Shrug with matching flower hair clip I had mentioned awhile back HERE. I paired it with a GORGEOUS tutu dress made by Brittney of Abby's Tutu Factory.


The ADORABLE Party Hat Hair clippies were made by the talented Jeanine of Monkey Cheek Boutique.

Xiera LOVED twirling around and around in her tutu dress. So much fun!

Breathtaking

I am so thrilled to share my latest piece I FINALLY finished! Crocheted all in thread is this BEAUTIFUL dress with bonnet to match. It is called the Garden Lullaby Dress Set and I found the pattern at the Crochet Garden. This dress was the most tedious and time consuming piece I have ever crocheted but I am so pleased with it!! I am almost sad to let this one go. I want to frame it in a shadow box! :) But I know it will be loved and cherished by my beloved customer. :) Because of all the time and love that was put into this, I will not be making another one again.

Another Baby On The Way!

Yep you read that right!! Xiera and Zella are going to have a new baby cousin soon! (I bet you were thinking something else..;) ) My SIL Carolyn is expecting baby number 3 and after having two handsome boys, she is so thrilled to be expecting a beautiful baby girl! Want to see what I made for baby? Of course you do!

It is a baby cocoon with matching hat. I think the creme with the pink rosettes and sage green leaves along the trim looks so shabby chic and Girly! :)


Xiera had her own "baby" model for me this morning. ;) O and yes I know Xiera doesn't match. She picks out her own pajamas to wear. ;)

And Carolyn was of course thrilled when she opened her gift from me today! ;) Congrats Carolyn! Hugs to you and sweet baby girl!

It is called the Barbie Doll Princess Hairstyle and I found out how to do it HERE. I think I might have to try this one on myself! It is just so pretty and trendy!

True Colors

We had such a lovely Easter. The girls looked so cute in their matching Easter dresses. All of their cousins looked just as adorable in their Sunday best.

And then when it came time to take pictures of the girls and their cousins we saw their true colors shine through.

In this next picture I asked Xiera to stand next to her sister and then she decided to push her down instead...sigh..

Hoppy Easter!

I just finished coloring Easter eggs with the girls and am looking forward to putting their Easter baskets together tonight while they are in sleepy town. Look what I made to put into their baskets this year.

I just love their sweet faces and their fluffy tails. If you would like to try to make one yourself, HERE is the pattern I found!

Tomorrow we will enjoy a wonderful Easter morning at church followed by an Easter egg hunt and then two wonderful family get togethers soon after. God bless you all!

Hunting For Eggs

My parents and I took the girls to the park for the town's annual Easter Egg Hunt this morning. Zella's face says it all. "Mom, is it go time?"

"Alright I got this!"


Then we met up with Xiera and grandma afterwards on the other side of the park where the bigger kids were hunting for eggs.
"Look at all the eggs I got Zella!"


Time to go meet the Easter bunny!

Euro Fairy Princess

Xiera had a blast modeling this fun and whimsical Euro Fairy Princess set today for Jayne of Baby Grace Designs! I just love how the colors of the fabric compliment each other so well. Xiera's favorite thing about the set is the "Comfy Pants". ;) She will be listing this set soon on Ebay.

Precious, Sweet, and Dainty

I have always wanted to crochet something using thread and decided to take the challenge. It is a very tedious process and much more time consuming than what I am used to, but the outcome is very rewarding.
