Curiouser and Curiouser with The Fairest One

We took the girls into town today for the annual Halloween parade where they closed off the town square so all the adorable kiddos dressed in their costumes could follow the firetruck into town. Once in the square, they had a Halloween costume contest followed by trick or treating in all the different shops in town. So much fun!

Xiera is of course Alice in Wonderland and Zella is Snow White this year. Both of their costumes were made by Kristen and Carol of bluebottledesigns.

We were so excited when they announced that Zella made first place in the 2 year old girls category for her costume and also when they announced that Xiera made third place in the 5 year old girls category for her costume!!

Congratulations girls!!! Hugs!!!

Scooby Dooby Doo, Where Are You?

Zella is a HUGE fan of Scooby Doo right now. She LOVES him so much and will watch the episodes; thumb in mouth, with a very intense look on her face; almost in a sort of trance state. LOL! Well we were so thrilled to get this Scooby set in the mail a few weeks ago made by the very talented Robyn of 3sweetps*boutique

Well the market in town sure does!!! LOTS and LOTS of them; and even a few gourds with a corn stalk teepee!

I just LOVE everything about autumn. The smell, the colors, Halloween, pumpkin pie, the cooler weather, and even that BIG birthday of mine that is lurking right around the corner....
