Feminine Chic Bow Ties

Christmas is right around the corner and I have been a busy crocheting bee, catching up on all of my Christmas orders. One of my beloved customers requested infinity bow tie scarves. She wanted one in black with a cream bow tie clip, and the other in grey with a black bow tie clip.

I just LOVE how these turned out. They are both very feminine and chic.
She also ordered this adorable grey with black bow tie Geeky Chic Scarflette to match her infinity scarf.

They make the perfect mommy and me scarves!
Both of the bow tie infinity scarves will be available in my Etsy store after the holidays.

My Little Geeky Chick

I had made this Geeky Chick Scarflette awhile back and sort of *GASP* forgot about it! I had my daughter model it for me yesterday evening and she really brought it to life.

I know that I am partial to this cutie patootie, but she does make the most adorable little bookworm in those glasses.

I plan to add this to my Etsy store, later on this week.

A Beautiful Day to Crochet...

I have been busy today enjoying the great outdoors while crocheting some new super cute things. Today I finished these Kawaii Panda Bear Flip Flops.

They are a size 12/13 in little girls. I am debating whether or not to add these to my Etsy store or not because Zella LOVES panda bears and these are her size. I guess I will have to wait until she gets home from school to see what she thinks. ;)
Another new item I finished today is this adorable Geeky Chic Scarflette with bow. I made this for Brittney of Ella Rose Portrait Arts to use in an upcoming photo shoot. She is already preparing for Back-To-School photo shoots.

I added a touch of silver in with the gray on the bow for an added glitzy diva touch.

I absolutely love kicking back in my Penelope Purple Flip Flops and crocheting the day away outdoors.

In other news; I took Zella and Xiera this week to get their haircuts. Xiera just got her normal trim but Zella felt a bit daring and wanted a shorter hairstyle.

She loved it at first, but by the next morning she was in tears telling me she looked like a boy. So we sat down at the computer and googled famous girls and women with short hairstyles. First we looked at the very famous Disney princess, Snow White, and then Emma Watson's adorable pixie haircut (The actress from Harry Potter who played Hermione Granger.) She started feeling much better and is beginning to embrace her cute new hairstyle. We put it up in a cute little ponytail today with a big purple bow. It is still long enough to be pulled back so that made her morning.

Poptart Kitty

My oldest daughter has been wanting me to make her a Poptart Kitty scarf for quite sometime now. I was finally all caught up with my orders so I decided to make one for her. I surprised her with it when she got off the school bus yesterday afternoon and she was tickled pink with excitement.

For those of you who do not know about the poptart kitty, there is this viral video on youtube of a cat that has the body of a poptart flying on a rainbow through space singing some silly meowing song. It is ridiculous, funny, and adorable all at the same time. Xiera LOVES it because she loves all things kitty cats.

Lately Xiera has been giving me a limit on how many pictures I take of her. Once my limit of 10 pictures were up, she let me know and then dashed away; laughing and giggling all the way. That silly girl of mine. :)

I Dream of Cream

Yesterday I finished this gorgeous creme scarf for my sweet customer and dear friend, Bekah. It is made of the softest textured yarn, Yarn Bee's Cameo Bulky in Cameo Cream. I loved every minute crocheting this because it was so soft and fluffy to work with. She wanted a touch of pink, black, and grey mixed in to match her coat so I added an elegant flower design to the ends.
I crocheted pink roses with grey leaves and white flowers with silver centers. I added a whimsical black stem design to tie it all together. To finish it off, I put a bit of fluffy fringe onto the scarf ends.
I absolutely LOVE how this turned out. I know Bekah will love it too.

Woodlands Scarf and Cloche Set

I just finished this beautiful scarf and cloche set for my aunt. It is a gift for her sister who lives in Germany. I just love how this set turned out. The mixture of colors remind me of a nature walk on a trail through the park on a cool, crisp, fall afternoon. It really is pretty. I have enough yarn left over to make another set so I went ahead and listed the set as a custom in my etsy store. You can find it HERE.

Just another sneak peak of my latest design! I snapped a few pics of Xiera wearing it this morning before I mailed it out to be modeled.

Did You Miss Me?

What a WEEK!!! Let's see, where do I begin? Well late last week I was uploading pictures from my camera and was called into the bathroom to assist Xiera. I left my camera on my computer desk since it was still in the process of uploading onto my computer. I come back and find Zella holding my camera. I told Zella to give the camera to mommy and she takes one look at me, smiles and throws my camera onto the kitchen floor lens first!!! So now my camera won't focus and turns on and off constantly! We already sent it in to be fixed so I am hoping and praying that they can fix it. Then our internet service was acting wacky all week long!! Some things wouldn't even load up and other times it was slower than dial up!! I was ready to scream!!! The Time Warner guy came out yesterday and had to run a new line since the other one was bad! A week with no camera or internet!! You know I was going through massive withdraws. At least I was able to get caught up with a lot of orders.

Look at my Hungry Caterpillar Hat being modeled by the adorable Elle!!!

It looks so adorable on her!! I have to say I love her caterpillar prop too!
And here is Alex in my Jack Hat! I just love her eyes! This is Xiera's new fave too!

I will be listing these in my Etsy store soon!

Here is a pretty little scarf and hat set I made to match a set made by San of Boutiqueprincessnbows. I already sent it off to be modeled but snapped a few pics of Xiera modeling it. This was right before Zella broke my camera BTW.

O and I never did get to share the beautiful sets Xiera modeled for Francoise of Francoise*Studio.

Aren't they both just the cutest?
And look at these cute bracelets Xiera modeled for Nicki of Tiny Tot Jewelry! Here is a close up shot!

And here is a collage of a few others!

I hope everyone has a fun and relaxing Labor Day weekend!

With Love,
Lindsay
