Yesterday morning, Zella had her second surgery done for the removal of her chalazions on her upper right eye lid. Everything went well and she is back to her happy, wild, silly, and crazy ways. We went to a pizza party last night for a dear friend of ours. Zella looked like a movie star in her sparkle studded sunglasses.
"Dear Lord, please help to heal her eye, and help me help her in keeping her beautiful blue eyes clean and chalazion free.-Amen."

Her Eye Part Three
Today is me and hubby's 8 year wedding anniversary. 8 years ago we stood before our friends, family, and our Lord, and said our I do's. What a beautiful day that was!
Now 8 years later I wake up to my poor Zella crying. Her eye is swollen shut. A few of the chalazions had returned 5 days after her surgery. The doctor told us to continue to apply meds and warm compresses to her eye and to wash her eye out at bath time with baby shampoo. Now she has another very large one forming under her upper eye lid. We went in to see the doctor today and he said she will need to have another surgery done to remove them. Hopefully this will be the end to this TERRIBLE nightmare we have had to endure. Please continue to keep my little Zelly Belly in your thoughts and prayers. We are all praying extra hard over here.

Lindsay

Punk Rock Halloween Sneak Peak
I FINALLY finished a doll and two hats and mailed them out Express to be modeled with their matching sets. Xiera modeled one of the hats and doll for me really fast before I mailed it out. The Lil Peas Go Batty Halloween Guest Launch has been going on for a week now with only one more week to go! I feel like such a procrastinator! What should I name the little doll? I was thinking Patrice the Punk. Sick (the cool sick), or Lame?

A New Tool
I picked up a dog brush from the store yesterday to try it on a new design of mine. It is working like a charm! Just as I suspected. Stay tuned.....

Take Two
Remember when we modeled these lovely aprons for Sally of Loveland Avenue? You can see the pics HERE! Well I was just informed by Sally that I was wearing the apron wrong! I was wearing it too high and the tie needed to be more at my waist. How embarassing! Can you tell I am not your regular domestic goddess? I really do need to get me a few of these now though because they really are not only practical but adorable!!
So here is Take Two!

Parade Day
We all went to the Art's Festival Parade early this morning. The girls had so much fun collecting all of the candy that was thrown from the floats and people walking in the parade.
Here are a few of the things we saw!

Her Eye Part Two
We just came back from the hospital and Zella's surgery went very well. All the chalazions were removed from her eye within 10 minutes. When she awoke from the anesthesia, she was a bit out of sorts and was not too happy with the IV on her hand. But once it came out and two popcicles later, she was a happy little camper ready to come home! The swelling should go away within a few days and the bruising should also fade away within the next few weeks or so. Zella is so happy and told me she wants to go swimming and play outside already. The doctor said only light play today so I think we will just go for a walk and plan for a funfilled day tomorrow. Thank you everyone for your prayers. We truly appreciate it and know God was there beside her every step of the way!

Her Eye Part One
Remember when I posted about Zella having a Stye in her eye early last month? If you don't, you can read about it HERE. We found out early last week from the ophthalmologist that what she actually has in her eye isn't a Stye at all but Chalazions. They are fairly large cysts on her upper and lower eye lids that will need to be surgically removed and or drained.
Tomorrow is her big surgery day. Please keep my little Zelly Belly in your thoughts and prayers. We are praying her surgery is a success and that she has a speedy recovery.

Mommy And Me Aprons
Xiera and I had a blast being silly in modeled these ADORABLE aprons made by Sally of Loveland Avenue.
Yes I baked yummy cuppy cakes the night before for the occasion, and made my own homemade buttercream icing to match those lovely aprons, topped with pink and green sprinkles. Xiera could not wait to have one or maybe two...
Taking a little taste test...
My wonderful mom was the photographer for this fun photo shoot! Thanks so much mom!! You did AWESOME!!
Don't forget to check out Loveland Avenue's Blog!! Her work is just beautiful, unique and let's not forget fun!
