Through the Looking Glass

For the past few weeks we have been taking Xiera to a few Eye Specialists. Her right eye tends to drift inward on occasion, so we wanted to have her eyes looked at to see if it was something serious. Xiera has been diagnosed with what is known as Accommodative Esotropia , which is caused by far sightedness. She should eventually outgrow this. She has been prescribed to wear glasses. We picked out her frames today and her glasses should be ready in a few weeks. Xiera is really excited about having glasses. She looks so cute in them, so I will have to share pics of her wearing them once we get them! ;)

Xiera and Zella looked just adorable modeling these pretty little fairy sets for Jayne of Baby Grace Designs.


This next pic, Zella sat on Xiera's finger, squishing her finger against the chair. Xiera was so sad and Zella looked so concerned! Too sweet!

Modeling with Pepper

Xiera had a lot of fun modeling this cute little Halloween set made by Jayne of Baby Grace Designs. Xiera was so excited to have Pepper the kitten on the scene with us! I am not sure Pepper felt the same though. He sure meowed a lot during the car ride and throughout the whole shoot. But isn't he the cutest? ;)

A Birthday Party

Today my nephew Micah turned 1! We attended his party today at the park. Isn't he a doll?! Happy birthday Micah!!

My Little Flower Girl

Yesterday my cousin Mandy got married to her long time boyfriend and high school sweetheart Eric. I am just so happy for them both! The wedding was just beautiful and the reception was such a wild and fun party! Xiera was their flower girl and I have been worried sick all week about it! She completely SHOCKED me and did such a wonderful job!! She walked down the aisle and was such a pretty little princess!! I am just so proud of her!! Here are a few pics.

Toads and Puddles

It rained all night long last night leaving us with a very muddy lawn and puddles galore!! The little toads came out to play after the rain so Xiera had a lot of these cute little guys to play with!

Zella had fun splashing in the puddle on our driveway. You can see Xiera admiring her little toad friend.


Soon splashing puddle time turned into this!!

I guess it was time for a break! Look at that pudgy little belly!
