Also love you lalaloopsy themed birthday, that's actually how I found you coz I was researching ideas for my daughters birthday.
Hi April and thanks so much for your sweet comments about my crochet designs. I first learned how to crochet from my step mother in law. It was hard to catch on at first. She is right handed and I am left but I found it easier to look by sitting across from her and "mirroring" every stitch. I finally caught on after a week of determination and my first finished product was a large granny square blanket. I then purchased a few crochet pattern books and taught myself how to read patterns by memorizing all of the crochet stitch abbreviations.
