Santa Baby
Yesterday we took the girls to go and see Santa. We had such a good time. (Ugg I don't like my face in the above pic but the girls look super cute as always. I was totally caught off guard.)
The girls ate some delicious cookies.
Did a little dancing.
And Xiera loved the clown who made her a balloon flower.
He made Zella a funny looking pink poodle. Why does he look so funny you ask? Well have a look for yourself! LOL!
Finally the girls sat with Santa and told him everything they wanted for Christmas. Zella still wasn't too sure about him so I sat with her again this year. Xiera told him she wanted a FurReal kitty cat and Zella said she wanted a dog. :)
Now it's time to put up our Christmas tree. ;)

Snowflake Hat
I made two of these hats for the girls to wear yesterday when they went to visit Santa. (I will share pics after this post.) For the edging of the hat I crocheted it in white and added a red whip stitch to resemble a candy cane. For the snowflake clip I sewed a rhinestone button to the center. For an added glitz, I sewed on a few iridescent sequins. You can't really see it in the above picture so I took another pic to show detail.
The girls received so many compliments last night when they wore these. Everyone was asking where I found them. ;) I was so bummed that I forgot to bring along my business cards. I just told them to Google CrochetDLane. How professional of me. :)

Turkey and Lip Gloss
Trying to get the girls to sit together and smile is quite the task...
Especially when one of them insists on applying her lip gloss first. I think I have created a monster! A makeup loving one! A girl after my own heart. (Notice Zella's annoyed look on her face.)
It was all worth the wait! ;) Happy Thanksgiving from our house to yours!

Lucky's Hat
Wisterialane is having a Breakfast Club Launch this week. I teamed up with the very talented Julie of paintedbutterflystudio for this exciting launch! We chose Lucky Charms cereal. Julie put a twist to her adorable applique tee to match and had Mickey Mouse dress up like Lucky. You can find the applique tee listing HERE I of course made Lucky's hat. You can find the listing for the hat HERE
~A little inside info for all of my crocheting diva readers who would like to have the pattern for this hat.~ The pattern is by my dear friend and talented crochet designer Jennifer Cirka of Jaybird Designs and I found it in the February 2009 issue of Crochet World.
Julie's handsome nephew modeled for us. Such a cutie pie! Don't forget to stop and visit Julie's paintedbutterflystudio BLOG too.

Isn't She Lovely?
Zella and I had the honor of working with Robin of TallulahSophie this week. Robin had recently emailed inquiring about having Zella model a set for her. We were more than happy to help her out! Robin's work is absolutely beautiful and flawless. I just love her whimsical twist on all of her designs.
I of course made the cloche style hat to match. You can find it HERE.
You can find this beautiful set with adorable dolly to match made by Robin of TallulahSophie HERE. Don't forget to stop in to read her Blog too. ;)

SURPRISE!!!!
Yesterday hubby told me he was going to take me and the girls out for dinner at Olive Garden. Just when I was craving a delicious Italian meal and was ready to head out, hubby changed his mind and told me he was craving a Marion's Pizza and we were going to go there instead. Talk about putting a girl in a bad mood!
On our drive to the pizza place, Zella decided she was going to take that nap she declined a few hours prior. ;)
Well once we arrived at Marion's with sleeping beauty in my arms,I followed hubby in to find a seat. I then realized I was in a room with a group of VERY familiar faces all looking at me with big smiles. Then they all shouted, "SURPRISE!"
I just want to say thank you to my beloved family and friends for making my BIG birthday extra special. ;) So how old am I you ask? I still have three days left of being twenty something. This coming Thursday is when I will officially be stuck in a Twenty Something Twilight zone forever!!
